Speaker Bio:

Alex Gibson is a leading commentator and consultant in the application of augmented and virtual reality technologies in travel and tourism. The founder of the ARVR Innovate Conference and Expo, which is fast becoming the leading conference for practical business applications of AR and VR, he has recently worked on augmented reality projects for museums and hotel companies. A Senior Lecturer in Marketing at the School of Hospitality Management and Tourism, Dublin Institute of Technology, he is a former President of HSMAI (Ireland) and has served on that organisation’s Europe Board. Alex is Industry Editor of the newly launched International Journal of Applied Augmented and Virtual Reality. Each week Alex presents The Persuaders Radio Show on Dublin City FM, where he shares marketing insights with local and international marketing experts.
