Colin Darby is the CEO of Volt Motorcycles. Colin has over 20 years’ business experience with Ireland’s only microscope specialist company “Micron Optical”, serving clients such as hospitals, industry, research and universities.

Colin has always been passionate about technology and in 2012 Colin identified the growing demand for cleaner vehicles in the marketplace. Together, with his love for technology and his business experience, Colin founded Volt Motorcycles - Europe’s newest electric powered two-wheeler company and Ireland’s only electric vehicle company.

Colin fully believes in a sustainable energy economy in which e- Powered two-wheelers play a significant role.
