Speaker Bio:

Emmett Kilduff is a fintech entrepreneur who used to be an investment banker with Morgan Stanley and Credit Suisse.

In 2012 Emmett was inspired by a hedge fund manager to set up Eagle Alpha. The hedge fund manager noted that the amount of data being created worldwide is growing at an exponential rate but asset managers are not profiting from this data. Eagle Alpha was set up to solve this problem - it enables asset managers to make money from ‘alternative data’. Examples of alternative data include: satellite imagery, credit card transaction data, trade/freight data and customer reviews.
