Erik leads Ibec’s policy development on advancing Ireland as a global digital leader and co-ordinates the work of its cross-sectoral digital economy policy committee. Ibec represents Irish business; home grown, multinational, big and small, spanning every sector of the economy. Mr. O’Donovan is also a member of the OECD (BIAC) Committee on Digital Economic Policy and the Business Europe Digital Economy taskforce. Erik has worked on economic policy with Ibec for 19 years holding many roles including, Head of Ibec’s office in Brussels and its permanent representation to the EU institutions, energy and climate change policy.
